Where are you located?

We are centrally located near the 10 and 7th Ave right off the freeway! The address to Studio House AZ is:

Do you have a Hair and Makeup space?

We just opened our secondary building in Fall of 2021 - Building B - just two buildings down from our original Building A. You now have the ability to book a spot in The Salon and utilize our hair and makeup space! Bring your own artist and take advantage of a beautiful setting to get your clients ready right on site.

Where do I park?

PLEASE take a look at our building map HERE to make sure you and your clients know which entry to use for your rented space, and it also shows where available parking is. There are three different entry points on two different buildings - so it’s important to know which one to use! You can utilize street parking available all around the studio on 4th Ave, or you can use a parking lot behind the buildings that you access on McKinley just East of 4th Ave. Please do not use the covered parking spots on Monday - Friday.

Please pay attention to no parking zone signs. We are not liable for any parking tickets or vehicle towing if you park illegally.

Can we bring our dog or cat into the studio?

We do not allow any pets into the studio except for service animals. You must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if your client needs to bring their service animal. Any unauthorized pets seen on cameras will result in a $250 minimum fee charged to your card on file.

How large is each Rental?

We have two buildings that are around 2600 sf each in total! You can read the exact room dimensions of each rental space by visiting The Rentals page and clicking on the rental suite of your choice.

I think I left some personal items at the studio! Do you have xyz?!

We have a lost and found in our office that we add items to if anything is found at the end of the day! Please contact us by email or instagram DM as soon as possible if you think you may have left something behind and we can check for you. We can not guarantee that any item will be turned in though as there may be many people in your rental after you - so please make sure you double check that you haven’t forgotten anything before leaving! We throw away or donate all unclaimed items after one week.

Do you provide lighting?

We are a natural light studio. We do not provide any additional lighting, but you are welcome to bring your own lighting setup if desired. Natural lighting is our number one priority when opening up a new building, each rental has tons of windows and provides great natural light. Do you provide furniture/decor/props to use?

Each studio rental is fully furnished with multiple furniture options! You can read more about each rental space and what items are in each here. You are welcome to rearrange and setup the rooms how you like for your session! We just ask that you put everything back how you found it and to please take good care of our items. If you’d like to move a heavy item such as a couch, bed, or mirror - ALWAYS use two people to lift the item rather than drag it across the floor!

What is the best time to photograph in the studio?

How much does it cost to rent the studio?

We have multiple options for renting the studio. From hourly rentals to full day rentals. You can see a full pricing list here!

How does the booking process work?

Head over to our availability calendar to see what we have open and to book your time slot. We require the entire rental fee up front to secure your spot. It is non-refundable and non-transferable, so please make sure you are booking the correct date, time and rental suite before submitting!

What if I go over on my time slot?

We book rentals back to back, and there often is not a buffer in between photographers. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you do not go over your allotted time. If you would like to add on more time during the session, you can check with us to see if it’s an option to extend or not. If you go past your time slot, we will charge a $100 fee. If you show up early before your time slot starts, we will charge a $100 fee. We do have cameras in the hallways and exterior of the building, and can see when you check in and out - please be respectful of your rented times! If you book a 1 hour spot at 9AM, you must be cleaned up and walking out the door by 10am at the latest. We are not responsible if you or your client is late!

Do you allow workshops or styled shoots?

We do! Please inquire through our contact form for special rental rates for these types of rentals.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

We are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Building A rooms will need to go up one or two small steps onto the porch to enter, and Building B will need to use a long interior stairway to get up into the rental rooms.

Can we bring glitter, confetti, birthday cakes, and other messy props of our own?

We ask that you do not bring food or drink (besides water) into the studio, and the use of confetti, glitter, open flames, or anything else that is potentially messy or dangerous is not allowed. The ONE exception to this rule is in The Warehouse rental - we will allow cake smashes, LARGE confetti, and other easily cleanable items - but you must clean up after yourself by disposing of all trash, vacuuming and mopping as necessary.
